ImOn Communications, a leading provider of 100% fiber Internet services across the Midwest, today announced a $100,000 community giving pledge through its ImOn Gives program to support nonprofit organizations and community initiatives across the Twin Ports region in 2026.
The pledge includes an equal commitment of $50,000 for organizations serving the Duluth community and $50,000 for organizations serving the Superior community. The investment reflects ImOn’s long-term commitment to supporting the people, programs, and partnerships that help both communities thrive.
The ImOn Gives program focuses on supporting initiatives related to technology and education, arts and culture, economic development, and social services. The company plans to partner with organizations throughout both cities that are making a meaningful impact on local residents and families.
“At ImOn, we believe being part of a community means showing up beyond the services we provide,” said Patrice Carroll, President and CEO of ImOn Communications. “Duluth and Superior are two proud communities with unique identities, deep roots, and strong community spirit. We are honored to invest in both communities through the ImOn Gives program and support the organizations that make the Twin Ports such a special place to live, work, and raise a family.”
The announcement comes as ImOn continues its expansion into the Twin Ports region, where the company is investing in a future-ready 100% fiber network designed to serve local homes and businesses with fast, reliable Internet service. In addition to infrastructure investment, community partnership and local involvement are central to how ImOn approaches every new market it serves.
“When Superior and Duluth succeed together, the entire Twin Ports region benefits,” said Rachel Johnson, President and CEO of APEX. “ImOn’s commitment to investing in both communities sends a strong message about supporting the entire area. This kind of partnership and community-minded investment helps strengthen the digital infrastructure, quality of life, and momentum we continue building across the Northland.”
Since launching the ImOn Gives program, ImOn has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to nonprofit organizations, local sponsorships, public Wi-Fi initiatives, schools, and community projects across the communities it serves. In 2025 alone, the company gave back more than $580,000 across its service areas, supporting 190 non-profits and community initiatives.
ImOn Communications was founded in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 2007 with a mission of making connections that matter, one person at a time. Today, the company serves communities across Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Wisconsin with fiber Internet, phone, and business technology services.
