Rotary Club of Superior Sponsors Event for Local Organizations
The Rotary Club of Superior is excited to host its 14th annual Craft Beer and Wine Tasting event at
Barker’s Island Inn on March 25th at 5:30 p.m. Guests may purchase tickets from a Rotary member, at the door, or online.
The night of fun will include a silent auction, delicious hors d’oeuvres, exceptional beer, wine, cheese, and
special bread selections. A virtual auction will open on March 22 and run through March 29.
In the past 13 years, this event has been a success thanks to the incredible generosity of community members, businesses, organizations and so many others. Their combined contributions have made a tangible difference in the greater Superior region.
Some proceeds will support Rotary Club of Superior scholarships and projects. Additionally, proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will benefit two local organizations:
• Northwest Wisconsin Services Agency (NWCSA) serves low-income households across Ashland, Bayfield,
Douglas, Iron and Price counties. Its programs include food assistance, emergency and transitional housing,
WIC, senior services, volunteer programs and other essential supports that help individuals and families build
stability and long-term self-sufficiency.
• Northwood Tech’s Emergency Assistance Fund provides small, immediate grants to students at the Superior
campus who are facing unexpected financial emergencies. These funds help students stay enrolled, stable and on track toward completing their education when unforeseen challenges arise.
