The University of Wisconsin-Superior’s Dr. Lydia Thering and Ms. Joan Hedrick Lecture Series will welcome Kristin Gustafson for “Fuel Your GPS: The Foundations of Whole-Person Health” on Monday, May 4, at 5 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room.
Free and open to the public, Gustafson will discuss how key elements of wellbeing work together to support resilience, clarity, and sustained performance.
The engaging keynote will explore how nutrition, physical activity, stress management, mental health, and sleep all work together to create lasting wellbeing. Through practical tools and inspiring stories, she helps audiences unlock simple, sustainable ways to live and lead with energy and balance, offering insights into how nutrition and movement fuel resilience and performance, strategies to manage stress and restore clarity, tools to strengthen mental health while building grit and purpose, and a framework for creating sustainable wellbeing in daily life.
Gustafson is a former Ironman World Championship competitor and business executive turned motivational speaker and author who helps leaders and organizations become “Detour Ready,” equipped to navigate life’s unexpected challenges with grit, purpose and strength.
With a master’s degree in exercise physiology and exercise science, over a decade of experience in business and product strategy, and as a national board–certified health & wellness coach, Gustafson blends science, storytelling and strategy to drive lasting performance, whole-person health and personal growth.
