Join Superior Historic Properties at 10 am on Sunday, July 26 for a History Talk featuring a very special guest: John Miller.
As a ten-year resident of the Superior Children’s Home & Refuge Association, Mr. Miller will give a walking tour of Fairlawn, sharing personal stories and firsthand experiences from living there.
Along the way, you’ll hear firsthand accounts of daily life, friendships, traditions, and even a few little-known stories that bring this chapter of Fairlawn’s history to life in a way no exhibit ever could.
Unlike our traditional seated history talks, this immersive walking tour offers a rare opportunity to experience Fairlawn through the eyes of someone who once called it home. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind chance to hear living history from a former Children’s Home resident.
