Spartan Manufacturing To Host Third Open House

Superior High School’s Spartan Manufacturing will host its third annual open house on Wednesday, May 6, from 4-8 p.m. Everyone from the community and the Northland is welcome to attend the free event.

The open house will take place in the technical education wing of Superior High School. This event will also
feature a silent auction where community members can bid on Spartan-made items. Additionally, a free
meal, while supplies last, will be provided to anyone visiting the event.

“Our students have certainly grown the last few years, and Spartan Manufacturing has created countless
opportunities,” said Adam Kuhlman, Spartan Manufacturing Coordinator. “The partnerships with local
companies have been tremendous, and we can’t thank them enough. This open house is a great way to
learn about our program and show off some of our projects.”

The School District of Superior is proud to offer trade opportunities to the students of Superior. Throughout
the decades, Superior High School has been home to many technical education classes, including
woodworking and automotive.

In December 2022, it was announced that Spartan Manufacturing, a student-run manufacturing business within SHS, opened its doors to the public. Fast forward to today, and this program has already significantly impacted community businesses and organizations.

Superior High School will host its annual “Spartan Fiesta,” where students present their senior projects and
showcase various art projects.
