Long-term Vision = Long-term Gain

My travel around Superior is frequent!  One of the routes I find myself taking, even though it may be a bit longer and may take a bit more time, is the ride on Tower Avenue from north to south.  The streetscape including the road layout, medians, sidewalks, and now the trees that have grown a few years are now in full bloom and look just great.

It demonstrates what can be done with a great vision and a long-term plan.

Continued investment by our businesses in storefront renovations, signage, remodeling and rebuilding continue to keep the improvements evident. The vibrance is palpable and inviting, it makes it easy to stop for a waffle, shop at one of our many boutique shops, do business downtown and eat and enjoy a beverage with easy on-street parking.

Is there more to do?

Yes, there is, but we’ve come a long way!  There’s room for more new ideas from our local entrepreneurs and there’s help available to bring those ideas to fruition (just take a look at the list of our Publishing Partners on page 2).  If you’ve got an idea, a plan and are willing to make an investment in time and capital, I encourage you to reach out for some help and advice to make those plans a reality.

So, there’s a pat on the back, and a kick in the rear!

Positively!
