Community members, educators, parents, students and local leaders will gather in Superior as Wisconsin Public Education Network and the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin host a gubernatorial candidate forum focused on the future of public education in Wisconsin.
Candidates will discuss their vision for supporting Wisconsin’s public schools, students, educators, and communities while answering questions on issues impacting schools across the state. Confirmed candidates include Mandela Barnes, Joel Brennan, David Crowley, Franchesca Hong, Sarah Rodriguez and Kelda Roys. The forum will be moderated by Dr. Kevin Lawrence Henry, Jr. Republican Tom Tiffany declined the invitation.
The forum provides voters an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about one of the most important issues facing Wisconsin communities ahead of the November election.
