The University of Wisconsin-Superior recorded its second-highest fall enrollment headcount since 1973.
According to final fall enrollment data, UW-Superior’s total headcount stands at 3,022 students, a five-percent increase from fall 2025. The last time the university’s headcount exceeded 3,000 students was in fall 1991.
Graduate enrollment increased for the third consecutive year, marking a record for UW-Superior. Enrollment of U.S. students attending classes on campus at UWS also increased.
“These enrollment numbers reflect the strength of our new and current academic programs, and the value students see in a UW-Superior education,” said Chancellor Maria Cuzzo. “We’re especially proud of the growth in online graduate and undergraduate students, which demonstrates our commitment to providing an accessible education no matter where a student resides.”
The university also reached a milestone with an all-time high number of high school dual enrollment students, which enables local high school students to earn college credits while still in high school.
“We’re excited to see more high school students choosing to start their higher education journey with UW-Superior,” said Jordan Milan, associate vice chancellor of enrollment and marketing. “Students are drawn to UWS because of the practical, hands-on education they receive here – an education that prepares them to launch meaningful careers and succeed long after graduation.”
