Superior’s dog parks are officially OPEN, and there are many to choose from!
Each season, the City of Superior transforms select outdoor hockey rinks into neighborhood off-leash dog parks during the non-skating months. They are located at Wade Bowl, Red Barn, Carl Gullo, Allouez and Pattison Park rinks, giving residents convenient places across the city to exercise and socialize their dogs closer to home.
These seasonal parks provide a simple neighborhood option for off leash play, though amenities are limited compared to the city’s premier year-round dog park in the Superior Municipal Forest. Users should expect basic facilities and varying surface conditions depending on weather and seasonal maintenance.
