The Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center is proud to premiere their new WWII documentary Mission Marge at Zeitgeist Theater in Duluth on Saturday, March 28, from 3-5 pm.
Program Highlights: This remarkable 30-minute documentary takes the viewer from Wisconsin to the jungles of Papua New Guinea. The film documents the expedition to find the “Marge” plane flown by America’s top fighter pilot, Richard I Bong. The film also highlights the international partnerships that enabled the team to find the plane and the deepening of the friendships that have formed between northern Wisconsin and Madang, Papua New Guinea.
Admission is free, but seating is limited to 64 people. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
